Description

This lesson is on teaching words that are opposite from other words. Then, the students can write sentences for these words.

To know opposite words
To write words in sentences

Materials Needed

The worksheet that I have included in this lesson.
Pencils and erasers for students Opposite Words Worksheet Directions: The words in Column B are the opposite in Column A. Draw a line from Column A to Column B. Column A Column B 1. Hot A. Won 2. Soft B. Slow 3. Lost C. Least 4. Fast D. Hard 5. Most E. Cold 6. Big F. Take 7. Give G. Small 8. Last H. Well 9. Sick I. Empty 10. Full J. First

Procedure

First, you will teach students about words that are opposite such as hot/cold.

Then, you will give the students the worksheet to see if they can match the words in Column A to the words that are the opposite in Column B.

After that, the students can write sentences for each of these words.

Grading

You can grade the students on the total correct out of the total number possible.
