Numbers - Before and After
This worksheet has two parts. Part One - Students will write a number that comes after a given number. Part Two - Students will write a number that comes before a given number.
For this lesson, you need to copy the following worksheet so that each student will have a copy.
Then, you can write the following examples on the board.
What number comes after 2? 2 _____
What number comes after 19? 19 _____
What numbers comes before 10? _____ 10
What number comes before 24? _____24
After you have gone over the examples, you can give the students the following worksheet. They need to work independently so you can see what each student knows and doesn’t know.
After that, you can collect the papers and grade them.
