Description

In this lesson, the students are to classify the animals: farm and pets.

Goals

Students will learn:
To tell which animals are farm animals and which are pets

Materials Needed

Worksheet
Pictures of animals
Glue stick

Procedure

First, you will copy the worksheet for each student.

Then, you will explain to the students about about farm animals and pets by showing them pictures of the following animals: Farm Animals: cows, pigs, chickens, and hens.

Pets: dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds

After that, you can give the students pictures of the animals and the worksheet for them to do independently. Worksheet - Farm Animals and Pets

Directions: Look at the animal pictures and glue each animal picture in the right category: Farm Animals or Pets

Farm Animals: cows, pigs, chickens, and hens

Pets: dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds Farm Animals Pets

Grading

You can reward the students for placing the animals in the right category.
