Students will sort out the words that rhyme and group them.

Pencils and Erasers

Procedure

First, you will copy the worksheet so that each student will have a copy.

Then, you will illustrate on the board how students will group words that rhyme.

For example, you can write the following words on the board: door, more, for, fish, wish, dish, can, fan, and man. Show them how the words rhyme and how to group them.

After that, you will pass out the worksheets so they can work on them independently. Worksheet - Sorting Words

Grading

You can grade them on the total number correct out of the total number possible.
