  • Baker High is on the up-swing back to it once was. As a new teacher coming in from the outside, and having worked in four states, I can say that Baker does not have the problems that most others have. There are no real gang, drug or discipline problems here! Bad press seems to last a while but what you will not see in the news, is about the number of students coming back because of the environment and new initiatives! Go Buffalloes!1

  • I graded Baker High with a D- because the school is falling apart. It has nothing to do with the teachers, they are great. But, the walls and ceiling are falling down around us. Other schools are worried about getting a bigger football fields, while we are burning up with no air-conditioning. It is becoming hard to pay attention in class due to the atmosphere around us. It really needs to improve or the students coming out of Baker will not do there best because they never had the best.
