  • Flowers is one of the BEST Elemantary Schools around. All of the teachers are super nice and Mrs.Barnes(the principal) is the BEST! She is motivated and loves her job.She doesnt take anything from the students. She's very strict about the childrens behavior at school.Im disappointed they have taken 6th grade from all Elementary schools in Montgomery,Al year of 2011-2012.My boys have been at Flowers since kindergarten and now their going to have to move on a year earlier than we planned .But mybe this will help the crowding in schools .I thank the teachers and Mrs.Barnes for allowing all my children to get a good education at Flowers Elementary School. We've all had great memories at Flowers.

  • I can remember every teacher I had in all 6 grades! My favorite by far was Mrs. Menefee in the 6th grade. We also had some 6th grade classes with Mrs. Bass whom I also enjoyed. Mrs. Goodwyn in the 4th grade was my next favorite, then Mrs. Jones in the 3rd grade. I dispised Mrs. Tucker in the 5th grade. I had a stuttering problem that byear and she actually made fun of me in front of all the other students. I wanted to kill myself (or her) after that awful day. "Shame on you, Mrs. Tucker!" Anyway, they had to switch my 2nd grade teacher halfway through the year due to some emotional issues, but ironically I liked both of them!
