  • My children went to this school. I was pleased with all but one of the teachers they had during their years there, but dealing with... the administration in the office, ... was such an unpleasant and unprofessional experience that I transferred them to a different school. They would ignore any phone messages or e-mails regarding parent concerns and then when asked if they had received them, simply reply "yes" with no apology or explanation for failing to respond. Dealing with certain people working in the school office, who continually maintained a hostile or indifferent demeanor in interactions, was really a nightmare. The difference between the helpfulness, caring and professionalism of the people working at the private school that my children now attend and those at Woodcrest elementary is like night and day.

  • My son came to woodcrest last year, he overcame the moving and relocating, and this 2007-2008 he's really excited to be in woodcrest, got to give credit to the excellent Job and extra time that Mr. Odin takes with the kids, yes my son is hooked to the "ukulele" (took me time to spell it right), was a great performance last night and can't wait to see them on tv.........
thanks , wish more kids got into music
    keep it up!!

  • My Child came to Woodcrest Elementary in November from St. Catherine's in Riverside. She was a good student at SCA and I assumed that she would be ahead of her peers at Woodcrest. Much to my surprise, she was as her teacher said, "A wonderful child, but she was eighteen to twenty-four months behind." She worked hard through the school year. Her teacher was amazing. She kept my husband and I informed weekly so we could work with our child at home and get her caught up to her peers. By the time she finished the school year she had earned high honors. My daughter has continuously received high honors each trimester since. Woodcrest is an excellent school.
