  • Iam a teacher at Encina and I absolutely love it. I've worked at many schools within Calif. I even have my daughter attending this school. The school is small but very closely-knit. The teachers are extremely devoted and competent. It's easy as an outsider to cast the first stone. I read one scathing blog and felt a need to repond. Our enrollment is extremely diverse and we do cater to a socio-economically challenged student body. I choose to work at Encina because I believe in supporting the "underdogs." We have hardly given up on our students.

  • This school was absolutely horrible.
Gangs run rampant and violence was everywhere. Even the teachers were scared of the students.
The only reason I rated it 2/5 because some of the teachers were really trying hard and were nice.
