  • I am a current student at WCHS...Every school has there faults..but et us not only see the fault in the school, but the beauty in it as well..if the school was so bad,as many say, then we wouldn'tbe able to meet AYP 3 years in a row...if the school was SO bad, then how would we be able to be recognized 2 yrs running as 1 of the top 100 schools in the NATION!!! You have no evidence to say that WCHS is a horrible school..so please..Know your facts..

  • I am a graduate of Wilcox Central High and I have disturbing reports of the (...) verbal abuse toward his student body over an open microphone. The school used to be a beautiful place to learn, sad to say it isn't anymore. It has been reported by students that there are students who are being sent to jail almost on a daily basis by the (...), and he finds this amusing. There some teachers who don't even teach, they are just present in a class, and many of these students don't know where to turn. Please wilcox, Lets get back to leading by example and show the world that children of wilcox county do matter, and just maybe, the students as a whole will come to believe this as well, and grow into people we can be proud of.

  • I attended this school and had some of the best years of my life and i cant wait until my 10 year reunion which is next june. I think behavior starts at home. If parents arent teaching their kids before they go out into this world then thats the parents fault. If you teach your child then there is nothing to worry about. Teachers are their to carry your kids over the hump to further thier education, not to raise them. And the staff was outstanding in being there for us as well as the priciple.
