  • My children had outstanding experiences at GHS. Their arts program, especially music, is phenomenal. The Spring musical this year was nominated for 9 awards for the State HS Musical Theater awards.

Other than that, there are good teachers and there are exasperating teachers. I really like the new edline homework website; you can send an email to the teacher at any time.

Not every teacher is as good as he/she should be. Most that I've come across, however, have been wonderful and caring.

  • Horrible high school. Some really bad teachers who happen to be all male, egocentric , self important. Moved my child to NFA. What a change. My child thrived to potential. Teachers at Griswold didn't want to be bothered. After I demanded meeting, I just got verbal abuse. Other teachers at meeting very uncomfortable. Quality of teachers at this school is awful.

  • Horrible district. Worked here for 5 years.. Ended up going to NFA. Teacher's don't care about the kids, Money is an issue (They ran out of paper!) teachers are always complaining, text books are out dated. what else. kids are treated like they are in prison. and best of all, HORRIBLE food, schools are in poor condition.

  • Teacher involvement is poor. All too busy to notify parents of problems, put the responsibility on the students. Have NEVER seen a staff that cares more about themselves than the students, as this one does. Do NOT send your children here if you want them to be successful. There is a reason they have such a high drop out rate.
