  • Vernon Center Middle School or V.C.M.S as you students and teachers know it as. I have experienced the great pleasures of being there. Kids and students will enjoy being teachers class of 2009 students, students will be doing challenging academics, algebra, english/writing, science, social studies, study hall, and locker time. In the morning you only will get 5 minutes usually befor the morning bell rings, in the beginning of each period/class you will be dismissed to your lockers and at the end of each day you will be dismissed to your locker again to gather your things. Here is another piese of advice for parents/guardians of kids/students in V.C.M.S, at lunch time which is usually 11:30am or 12:00pm when i went your child would go to the lunch room/cafetiria wherever abouts it is and they would enter their pin number for lunch or show a card with their lunch I.D and if the student has money still on their card the staff will allow them to pass but if they dont they will give you a warning and send an envolop with the amount of money that is due home and have the parents/guardians sign it and bring it back the next day with money in it. If they dont get money or the envolop back in time they will send another one but if that doesnt get signed your child wont be getting lunch that day until you bring in money or they will give your child a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich whith a water. The staff will do that for two days usually then defenetly no lunch the next day. When i went in 1997 when we had gym we had to wear gym uniforms i dont know about today but i would call the principal there or the school and make sure so your child is dressed appropriet. V.C.M.S is a great school and its a pleasure for people to go there and its a great school for children who are in 6th 7th and 8th grade. So be a good smart person and regester your child in this school and im sure the staff and teachers there will accept your child and educate them so there advanced and ready for the high school so regester your children in this wonderful school and have you and your child experience the pleasure in this school that i did when i went. If you have any more question call the school today the number is, (860) 870-6070 zip code 06066 town, 777 Hartford Turnpike Vernon, Ct. Register today!!!!!!!!!!!!
