  • The entire staff at McIlvaine ECC has been exceptional in everything they do. They are very active in participating and making learning a great experience for their students. The Principal and staff have been sure to keep strong lines of communication to the parents by using the global calling system and by being sure to contact parents directly if your child has been involved in any issues. They offer great guidance and programs to help the children and their families. The 'parent parties' have been a great bonding experience for the children and parents who all get to participate and learn together. The teachers have all been wonderful and very helpful for the parents, children and fellow teachers. The student achievement rate has been great for my son, he has progressed exceptionally well and I believe that is due to his terrific teacher as well as the other staff of McIlvaine. The homework loads are reasonable and provide the parents the participation on a routine basis that also helps their child. The classrooms are all 'high-tech', with multiple learning opportunities to keep up with the trend of electronic learning as well as to offer additional opportunities to the teachers lessons. McIlvaine is a vibrant and friendly school that I have had the pleasure of experiencing and volunteering with. I would highly recommend the experience for both you and your child(ren).
