  • When the county implemented the 6/7 schedule for teachers it prevented any personalized instruction from occuring. This happend in HS's all over Hillsborough. I believe that the teachers at Gaither want to do more as far as creative hands-on learning, but are overwhelmed and overworked with the sheer numbers they are ecpected to teach.

  • I have to dissagree. I am currently a senior and I have to say that i think they have improved alot since my freshman year. They have really cracked down as far as tardys and on-campus crime. You can barely even walk through the halls without an AP asking you where you are supposed to be. The classes are decent but some of the teachers SHOULD change their curriculum a little bit instead of just having us copy notes of the board- they should be exsplaining the subject more. Overall though I think it is an ok school to send your child.

  • I am currently a senior at Gaither Highschool and I must say...It needs work. Most teachers are unattentive to the students, and teaching would include putting notes on an overhead and telling us to copy them down. The students are a riot waiting to happen, they are uncontrolled byt the school officials and officers, nobody cares. Don't send your child there.
