  • I was recently student at Ringgold High School. After attending for only a year i just had to leave. The education status is so low, Way too many drop outs as well as high teen pregnancy. I could tell that in just one year 45% of the female student were pregnant or have already conceived a child. It's so outrageous. They have put day cares at both the middle and high school campuses. In doing such, this is telling these students that it's ok to have a child at such a young age. There has also been problems with bullying and mistreatment from not only the student but also teachers. There is judgment on who you are and where you stand as a student. I could also tell that money was spent on unnecessary supplies. Honestly i think the school exists for entertainment purposes.

  • To bad the principal of this high school is a bigot. She should be ashamed of herself for treating that lesbian couple so inhumanely. Obviously diversity is not a mainstay of this educational facility.

  • I am mostly rating this school in response to the unfair low reviews I have just read. I am a senior at Ringgold. The high school is about as good as any other in the area. I find that most of the teachers are about average; those who teach honors are normally above average. The students who are bashing the capability of the teachers have obviously not participated in the honors program at the school. We have had several national merit scholars and nominees, many Governer's Honors Program winners, and I have met many intelligent students and staff members. Students have opportunities at Ringgold; whether they choose to take advantage of them is entirely up to them. There are some flaws in our school, but none that do not also exist at every high school. Yes, we have drop-outs and teenage pregnancy, but we also have an overall safe atmosphere to learn in. Despite the frustrated negative comments I have made over the years, I finally realize that I was lucky to have gotten to attend Ringgold High School.

  • i'm a senior at Ringgold High and I think the principal complains too much about the dress code and doesn't pay attention to the students or our education. She doesn't care that her students may not ever graduate all she wants is the money. I hate to say it but it's true. Some of the teachers can teach but when it comes to the students who really need help they don't have time to help them. There are very few teachers at Ringgold willing to spend time helping us students and making sure we graduate. The only 3 people at that school i've noticed doing their job are Mr. Harris, Mr. Hales, and Mrs. Allen.

  • our school may have good test scores but we also have one of the highest drop out rates. a lot of the teachers aren't that good at teaching. i mean some of them are but not all of them. It use to be horrible just walking into the lunch room because of how much of a mess it was but at least they fixed that. the principal complains too much about the dress code when she should be worrying more about our education and the food we eat in the cafeteria. more than half the students at our school hate the school lunches.
