  • I do not recomend this school to anybody . I went to eat lunch with my child there once , and the food is disgusting . The teachers / staff never return phone calls or e-mails . They also do not accuratley give grades on report cards . Another thing is that there is an extreme race issue in this school . All of the head faculty in charge is african american , and i am not rasist , but they treat my daughter , who is a white female differntly then they treat the black children . i have heard both of my children , along with their friends complain about it , not to mention all of the fights about race that happen at the school . also , teachers don't do anything when students are bullied . all the concelors do is criticize my child when she attempts to speak with her . and students aren't properly punished for their actions . if you're looking for a school who's based on education and treating everyone equally , i highly suggest piedmont academy , or moving . because jasper county middle school is a pathetic excuse for a school .

  • this school is beyond awful, as a student I disagree with most of the things done here, where your from or who you know matters a lot. regarding behavior issues, and how you are treated on a day to day basis! Whites males are treated completley diffrent than black males. and i'm a white female, not even trying to show favor to either race, If I had a choice, I would move. but my parents like it here, in the country; away from the city. I prefer the opposite. If you are looking to let your child attend this school, I reccomend not.

  • Horrible is the only word for it! This school says they want you involved but the moment you do try to get involved in your child's education your treated like a problem. unanswered phone calls emails to teachers etc. This is a small town school to where it is all about who you know to get something done. My child plainly had a 65avg for math last year and magically at the last report card he had a 70! NOT ACCURATE! This is just how things go at JCMS. They have not met AYP for the last 4 years, they can say what they want but as a parent of a child in that place, you know the real reason's why.
