  • I attended GES from kindergarden through 5th grade (starting in 1990). It was a great school . I can honestly say I looked forward to going each day and loved every one of my teachers. My parents feel that I received a quality elementary education. I also enjoyed the art, music, and computers classes that were part of our weekly schedule. I can't say I feel the same way about Maggie Califf; it was horrible. There were a couple of good teachers, but not many. After my 7th grade math teacher proved to my mother that she could not average a set of numbers after several attempts, my parents pulled me out of JC public schools and sent me to private school in Milledgeville. I was very far behind, especially in math and english. It was very difficult for me to catch up even though I was on the principle's list in JC.
