  • We are incredibly fortunate for our children to attend Ola School. In a school district that is suffering, and, in my opinion, pretty pathetic, Ola School stands high. It is rural, but it is advanced in technology. It is small in size, but it is large in academics, character, and providing students with self confidence. The teachers encourage the children to think things through, not just to "hurry up and finish." They teach them to love to learn and to love to read, not just to pass the test and get good grades. They know each child's strengths and weaknesses. They have high standards and high expectations for themselves, their school, and their students. Our children love their teachers and always come home happy. The school itself, at 100 years old, is bright, sunny, and cheery, making it a wonderful environment for learning. Ola School is small, but packed with resources for excellent learning, including the tiny library which holds over 10,000 items. Ola School receives 10 stars (or in this case, 5 apples).
