  • My daughter is starting her senior year at BUHS. What a wonderful experience she has had. Their choir/band is second to none & Ms. Green is fantastic! The whole class is supportive of each other, it's incredible.
My daughter is in the LIfe Skills class with Ms. Early and it has been a wonderfully fulfilling experience for her. She has learned a lot and the support from the teachers & counselors has been fantastic.

  • BUHS,at the beginning of this present school year, has instituted one of the best programs to help freshmen achieve goals. It is the Freshman Focus team. They meet on a weekly basis to discuss, plan and work toward a better outcome for these kids. These are very dedicated staff members who, for the most part, don't tread heavily on a kid who has slipped a little. They know the abilities and attitudes of their students and follow that lead. If a kid has had a good scholastic path and suddenly falls short they do their very best to get that child back on track. "A little blip on the radar" is what it could be called. If that kid needs a stronger hand, that is done also. Always leaving it up to the student to take the steps necessary to get back on track. They care about these kids and have made them their very own. Kind, considerate, strong, demanding and a whole host of other adjectives define these educators. I personally applaud them in their efforts to set these kids on the right path to complete a successful high school career.
