  • Ohio is a great school! The teachers are wonderful. They care about the students and parents. People who are not satisfied with our school should send their children elsewhere and leave the majority of us loyal and dedicated people alone.

  • This school is amazing. The teacher to student ratio is amazing. You couldn't pay for a better education from a private school. The students are not just numbers here. The teachers are wonderful and caring. Not like any other school I have delt with. My kids love it and I love it. Thank you Ohio Schools for sticking it out through all the negative people and publicity!! Negative people should move away if they are not happy. Leave Ohio Schools alone! Don't let the crabby few who make big noise ruin it for all that are happy with this school! GO BULLDOGS! LONG LIVE OHIO SCHOOLS!

  • Mrs. B is our current Study Skills and Music teacher she is wise and caring, she knows so many things that help me everyday. But What our school lacks isnt Funding, education, or all that stuff you've said, its respect jsut today, an Army veteran came in to talk to us during lunch, and as soon as his back was turned, a kid made a motion acrossed his chest as if he were putting something on then grabbed a spoon and acted like it was a detonator!! What is that? Thats the funding? thats the 50 years of pride at work? We do get made fun of, its almsot a sport, who survives longest in Ohio without problems? Teachers are great, students are smart, sports are well organized and participation could be better but its too much for a kid or kids going through there teens to handle.

  • classes can get way too off the subject easily. The band is wilting way too fast and wont pick up for a while. the food is nasty and the roaches are disgusting. The volleyball girls did great last year and i hope they do better this year. Shutting the school down may be a better choice. I hope this review offends no one, but like I've heard many a times, criticism can be constructive if given thoroughly. Study Skills is a total waste of time. We need more time for doing homework. Not listening to the teacher try to be strict while being nice and talking to insubordinate kids that take advantage of her politeness. and don't give up on them! This school has many pros and cons. Some of the teachers actually take time to tell you about them. Some actually express their feelings. I can remember one time that our band teacher cried because she was so pleased with our hard work. It made us all feel happy. And she lets us pick our band songs and lets us do solos and duets for high school graduates. If she thinks our chorus songs fit, she has us work until we loosen up and enjoy the harmony of us all singing. This I would say this is more of a happy hour at Ohio Grade school. No one gets made fun of. Not even the scrawny nerds, no offense. No one gets pressured into anything. Seniors and sixth graders get along. More experienced band players step up and help the ones who struggle. I would say thank you to our now seniors and graduates for helping me find my passion in music and helping me to fight quitting altogether. Wow i can ramble for a long time. If i were rating 8th hour, i'd give it a 6, but this is the whole school and that drops it far down.

  • This school needs to close down already. It may have been a good school at some point but not anymore. By not closing the school and letting us go somewhere else, we are missing out on way too many opportunities like important classes and sports. don't send your kids here

  • I feel that I received a fantastic education at Ohio Grade and High Schools and graduated in 1954. I went on to Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Il and graduated in 1958. The study habits and special attention that I received while at Ohio helped me a great deal in college and later on in life. Besides the academics, I had a great career in sports at Ohio especially in football and basketball and went on to play one year of basketball at NIU. One English teacher of Princeton, IL often comes to mind. My 4 years of English at Ohio was extremely important when I got to college. What I learned from her at Ohio was greatly responsible for helping me get upper management positions with several companies. I never had trouble writing reports or anything to do with English throughout my life. The small classes at Ohio allowed a lot of personal attention by the teachers with the students and that is very important in getting an education. I owe a lot to the Ohio Schools and feel very fortunate to have lived in Ohio and to have gone to school there. If I had to live my life over again, I would not have changed a thing and would have wanted to live in Ohio and gone to the Ohio Schools. I am currently writing a book about my life and a great portion of the book is about my life and education in Ohio. Thank you, Ohio. I love everything about you and you will always be my home!

    GO BULLDOGS!
