  • Lowell High School is not a school that reinforces positive influences on our kids.
What school system holds a child responsible for being late because of a flat tire. I tried to call the school for over an hour and recieved no answer. Now they want to give my son an in-school suspension. When speaking to the assistant principal, he kept calling my son by the wrong name, was very rude, curt, and talked down to me. I went to the superindentants office and spoke with the business person, who argued with me and told me he was not late for his job, which he only had since July. We know there are policies that are inplace for the success of teaching guidelines, however when it is out of your control, a parent tries to call for over an hour to explain why the kids are going to be late, it should not be a problem, Next time I will keep them home. Where is our tax dollars going when you have a school system with no sensitivity, compassion or support for our kids??? Also, they added three new shots the kids need, however, the school system failed to notify parents, then they wanted to send the kids home for not having them. I could go on and on, this is one of the worst run school systems. They don't care about the kids only how mean they can be to them and how much money they can spend on themselves.
