  • Valley High...is not the place to be they do nothing when a child is bullied & when they see a fight they watch for a minute. Now the new Principle Mr. Gary Hurt has excelled, I feel that he has gotten the job done. But as a Senior I feel that the teachers do NOT believe that we will make it in life. I mean just because I go to Valley does not mean i am totally illiterate, I go to Valley because it is my home school, not by choice. I shouldn't have to be ashamed by the school I go to. You might ask what makes Valley bad? Well its the students, they don't even try, but the teachers don't encourage their students. Also the parents involved is almost none...the students that do well their parents are usually involved. If your child goes to Valley help make them have a future.

  • I believe valley is an okay school! we need to get better security, and stop letting the students get away with every little thing! A lot of kids also run to the adults when nothing is even wrong. It's usally about little petty stuff like "someone called me a name." "someone said they was not my friend no more." People need to grow up, because we are not in elementary anymore. We are on are way to becoming mature adults. We all need a reality check, because right now the teachers may help us, but they won't be there our whole lives. Everyone has the potential to become whatever they want to be! If you set your mind to it you will become something wonderful, I know you can! I have faith in everyone here, even if you don't. I also believe we need to have more assembly's, because I believe that gets the kids pumped up! I think it's a good idea to bring in special guest speakers, who had it hard as a child, but then made something of them selves.
That is all I have to say, except Go Valley Vikings!

  • "Valley is the place to be, We're on top of Waggener and Bullitt East!!"

This is what you will hear from any student if you ask them about Valley.

Valley has many exceptional programs available such as:
    Hackey-Sack Club (VLOHS)
    Band
    Orchestra
    NJROTC
    Choir
    Industrial Chemical Technology (ICT)
    Honors Program

These are just as few of the many different programs avaiable at Valley. But one of the most important thing about Valley is the general showing of acceptance (No Matter Your Interests!!!)

As a Senior at Valley I can personally say: Valley ROCKS!!!!
