  • My daughter attended Elizabeth High School ans we transferred her out to another school. The girls are mean and bossy. If you are nice and well-mannered, you don't stand a chance.

  • Ok, EHS is a good school. The only thing is, kids in the area of Allen Parish tend to think they are snobby. They think they are better than everyone. My kids attended Kinder and Oakdale and the honor class kids were practically family so dont think it's just EHS with family like class mates.

  • This school is mediocre at best. The test scores do nothing to reflect the education given, grades are basically handed to you if you ask for the nice enough, I know this from first hand experience. All school work could basically be passed off as busy work, I honestly was not prepared for college because of the school, but because of my own hard work. These are not the main flaws of the school though. That would be the horrible favoritism shown by the administration. If your child is ever facing a disciplinary problem all you have to do is speak to the (...) and your child is 90% sure to be out of trouble in a minute. He has zero backbone when it comes to dealing with parents. Get somewhat threatening with the man and he caves, he'll let your child off in a heart beat. I'm not trying to sound like I condone this, it's how it is. He implements double standers on a daily basis, one student can do something and get in serious trouble, then another can do the same thing and not get in any trouble. The school used to be one of, if not the best, in the parish. Due to the current administration however the school is probably at the bottom of the list. I loved going there as a young child, but hated my high school days.

  • Elizabeth is an amazing school! The teachers really care about their students and because the classes are so small they tend to grow up almost like family. I for sure want my children to attend EHS, no questions asked!
