  • Parents should back the administration and not give in to their children just to make them happy. Rules are established for everyone's benefit. Instead of telling your children how they should be able to do what they want if it makes them happy, they should have to abide by the rules. Don't enable children to disobey, enable them to conform to the system that is established to benefit them.

  • I feel some of the Teachers and I state some of them do not do their jobs.My Grandson can't stand school now. Why pick on a child if he looses his pencil while on the way to class.
The 7th grade Gym teacher is nice and thank God some of the Teachers make it up for the mean ones.
Please show the Children how to do their Homework just don't throw it at them.
This isn't a jail it is a middle school.
These Kids need their own school not one that wasn't good enough for the children that were in it before.

  • I've never seen such poor leadership, as I have seen with the new principle at Morton. Our children are still being pulled from their classes and having to sit in the auditorium during school hours for not wearing the correct (which is due to interpretation) Spirit Wear. Today is picture day and the entire school is being punished for the students who have not turned in their homework for 3 days.No student is allowed to dress down for their pictures, that we have to purchase. All I see is my honor roll students hating the school that they used to be proud to attend. This new principle has turned the spirit of Morton to disappointment. It is not fair that she has the authority to humiliate our children and repremand all students for the actions of a few. Positive reenforcement is needed not segregation and humiliation. Eight kids dressed down today and they all were sent to the office. These children need to be excited about school not dread going. I hope parents don't roll over and allow this women to make our children miserable. Please start standing up for our children, they deserve our support. I know my children have mine and I hope the same is true with yours.
