  • I have just entered my children several months ago into spain and I am amazed at how wonderful the school is ran and all of the staff is awesome even the security. My son was struggling with reading for year's even with the at home help.I have a eighth grader and a third grader and my third grader is reading like he has never had a problem his teacher is Ms.Brown whatever she is doing she is wonderful and I just wish I had sent them there several year's ago keep up the good work! My eighth grader was never obeying staff and here Mr.Alexander lays down the law I love that zero tolerance but that does not mean he's kicking you out you first time in trouble he's old school and finds strategies to help the child first. They also, have wonderful activities for the children he keeps them involved and eager to learn!

  • I taught at Spain Elementary from about 1964 to 1967. It had a fabulous student body. The faculty
had more spirit than any school at which I have worked. I remember the teacher corps teachers including Diana Ross' sister (before she entered medical school), Pat Green, and another teacher whose face i remember but whose name i've blocked. Ruby Urquat, Mike Mears and Joe Madaj were just a few of some very excellent teachers who were there.
If any of the spirit of that time has remained, Spain is the school to attend or work at.

  • Placing my son in that school was not the right thing for him. The principal was not a fair person at all to the kids or parents.
