  • This school has a low academic level but it gives students a great opportunity to excel on their own. Hard work and determination can make a huge difference in this school and how it runs. The students don't have enough respect for some teachers, unaware that they are trying to help them make it far in life. This school has some great people.

  • Working at this school I have noticed many students are being raised in single parent or are under grandparent supervision. It appears to make a difference in student respect and responsibility in school. We have many, many top notch students. Some are just interested in an educated, secure future. Many will go on to college. Many attend Skill center which opens doors to a secure future. Parents being involved with their students definately makes a difference in outlook, self esteem, respect. It all starts at home. School is an extention of home. We have multiple extra educational oppotunities, after school programs, Skill Center, Gen net classes, work programs. It takes student and family involvement to make a difference. Mt. Morris changed to Trimesters so other learning objectives could be explored by students. Try it.

  • This district does not care for student. They see us as dollar signs opposed to actual people. They also discourage people from attending school board meetings because they are afraid of what the community thinks.
