  • Do NOT let your kids go here if you want them to succeed. The politics at this school suck. If your child is not a favorite at the school he or she will not succeed.

  • How can the High school have enough money to make over the lunch room again and add flat screen tvs in the hallways, but not enough money to have all the hallway lights on and heat when the kids are cold. My daughter is always coming home saying it's so cold and the teachers have a fit if she carries a sweater around with her. And some teachers have space heaters by their desk but the school can't turn on the heat? The halls are dark in the high school wing and some of the other kids won't keep their hands to themselves.
What is the school using the money for. Last year I didn't know my kid was having problems until report cards came home. What happen to teachers working with parents to help kids do well in school? Or is that only when the teacher is going to get something out of it? And (...) is always right, even if he doesn't know the whole story, and he doesn't care to hear the whole story. And I think it was wrong of the school to say the kids couldn't wear T-shirts for (...), I didn't know him but it wasn't right for the school to put their nose in. It's almost as if they want to shame his family which is not right. No family should have to go through that. To (...) family and friends, I am sorry for your loss.

I would NOT tell anyone to send their kid to Vassar schools. It's not the worst school but they just don't care about the kids. I believe the kids are safe there but I don't think they are learning all they could because of the teachers and surroundings.

  • The wayne thing is an issue because the way the students now are acting it's almost as if they are immortalizing a suicide case. Almost making him a martyr and idolizing something they shouldn't, a suicide. That's why there's an issue for the wayne's shirt.

as for the school in general
if there's any way you can send your children to a different establishment i strongly encourage it.

  • i think that when the school said that we can not wear a shirt that is in remembrance of wayne that they did the wrong thing we are not trying to remember wayne as of how he died we are trying to remember him as of how he lived
