  • I went to Wonder back in the 70's and my favorite teached was Mr. Wilson. I would love to know what became of him. He really influenced my life and I still think of him on occassion.

  • Well i can't say if the school is good or bad. My child is a 7th grader and so far i have not had any problems. He is involved in football and it is so far pretty good. I conduct myself in a manner where i will not allow anyone be it a principal or a teacher disrepect me or any of my children. I keep a firm handle in my childs education. I think that is biggest part of a child's education, parental involvement. Don't just come and conference with the teacher when something bad happens, go when it is good too. For the uneducated ignorant remark about kids eyeballin folks, get a life and get some more education because you don't even know how to punctuate a sentence. Wonder is all right with me..

  • The staff at this school has no interest in child's best education. My family moved from little rock which has an excellent school system. My daughter has been sent home at least 5 times for 5 days at a time because of her quoted"attitude", not for fighting, not for classroom behavior but for being provoked by school staff during locker changes. I have had to call the police department for a bruised that she received from a non school district employee whom was a man of about 6ft tall and well over 30 lbs. When addressed to principal about the bruised and showed him the actual mark his response was " she shouldn't have pulled away." You have 15 and 16 yr olds receiving paddles for not having their shirt tucked in. I brought my 57 yr old mother to conference with me about my daughter and when she wanted to speak, the principal threaten to put her out of his office with the police on duty and stated he did not want to hear what she had to say after not even introducing himself. With all the suspensions given to my daughter, the principal never had a meeting with me and the other parties including witnesses that saw my daughter get shoved into a locker. This school has problems with students whom parents are involved and are concerned with their child's education. I would not recommend this school to any parent with a college education and wants their child to attend college. My daughter came from little rock with all honors classes and within a second school year, she has had all honors classes taken from her. Because this school was so bad, I gave up a good paying job just to move back to a better education system.
