  • MY NAME IS DALE BROWN. I'M A 1988 GRADUATE OF PHS. I PLAYED ON THE MOST SUCCESSFUL BASKETBALL PROGRAMS IN THE SCHOOL HISTORY, MYSELF, ANTONIO HARVEY, ELBERT ROGERS, AND ISAAC BROWN. WE ALL SIGN MAJOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AND A FEW OF US PLAYED PRO BASKETBALL FOR A WHILE. I DON'T THINK IT'S FAIR, BECAUSE PASCAGOULA HIGH DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING UP IN THE GYM RECOGNIZING US AT ALL. IT'S LIKE WE NEVER WENT TO SCHOOL THERE. ALL THE EXPOSURE THAT I ALONE BROUGHT TO GOUL, PLAYING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY. THE ALLTIME WINNINGEST BASKETBALL PROGRAM IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL. WE ARE NOT APPRECIATED FOR OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS BY SCHOOL OFFICIALS. THAT'S NOT RIGHT. TONY HARVEY, ELBERT ROGERS AND MYSELF, ALL PLAYED IN THE NBA. THIS COULD REALLY HELP MOTIVATE OUR KIDS TODAY, BY RECOGNIZING SOMEONE WHO HELP PUT GOULA ON THE MAP FOR BASKETBALL.
