  • Unless you're in special ed. Not so great. The staff and faculty are either uneducated in the services available to our children in special ed, or they choose not to educate you. As a parent of a special needs child, I had to tell THEM the services that were available.

  • I graduated in 1980. No guns, tasers or metal detectors were required. It was a safe place but there was heavy drug use among certain disaffected groups. This was in the pre-crack-meth era. Academically, I left prepared for college.

  • Cannot vouch for the educational value of the school at this point in time.
I am a former student who graduated in 1961. Most of the students I talk with today who graduated in that era express profound appreciation for the quality of education we received.
The community was one that provided an atmosphere conducive to learning. Most of the families who had children attending all levels of school were active in the school and the community.
