  • I have been going to Haviland Middle School for the past three years and have loved every minute. I have learned and accomplished so much with the help of these AMAZING teachers and caring principles. I have never doubted that changing to the Hyde Park Public School District was a mistake and have thrived as a student since the change. The diversity and differences in personality have made our school great and the endless academic/ athletic opportunities only make it better. I love this school and will be sad to leave the school in the next few months. I am proud to be graduating from such a wonderful school.

  • Haviland Middle School is really good. There is a lot of after school activities and they have Teen Center every first Friday night of the month. The teachers are very good at what they do. A lot of them are very nice too. Lunch period is probably the worst period though. It can get chaotic sometimes. HMS has an awesome library. The counselors are helpful too. Overall, Haviland Middle School is a very good school.
