  • I had a difficult time getting any teachers and administrators to call me back or email. They use technology driven solutions to obtain on demand status of student progress; however, some teachers update at least weekly and others fairly infrequently. As high school students, I do not feel the school and local community do much to prepare the students for the realities of the world. Senior trips are expensive and do not consider the upcoming cost of college. In addition, the expense does not consider the economically diverse audience of Livonia and excludes those less fortunate which I find offensive that the administrators would allow. In addition, the school and parents plan many "fun" outtings for the kids, such as senior night, but yet the do not ask the seniors to take any responsibility for it. I see alot of 18 year olds walking around with no jobs and no plans for the future. Their only interest is their next party.
