  • As a current student at SVHS, they do share equal commiment of success to both academic and athletics. Im a junior at SVHS and im involved in both academic and athletics and I believe they are both treated fairly. For someone to say that academics is not getting equal success as athletics, then that to me sounds like the academic person is not pushing him/her to the fullest potental to recieve success

  • As a fellow student of SVHS, I also agree that a lot of focus is put on the athletics department. I will, however, say that the administration does a lot for the academic student when said student needs help. I've had the principal himself sort out schedule and class problems for me in the past and I believe we have a good set of administration here. Most students fail to realize the responsibility and tasks that are at hand for the principal, diciplinarians, teachers, etc.

  • The student who wrote that statement may have been from another country. Exchange students' grammar is not all that great.

  • It is appalling to read a review written by a student who participates in "5 Academic Clubs," has been passed through the educational system into high school, and makes so many spelling and grammatical errors. How is this person out of the second grade?! Is this representative of the education one will receive in Cumberland County?

  • South View High is making strides in its academic areas. The IB program gives students opportunities that are not available in any other school in Cumberland County.

  • this school that i attends only cares about a student if they're on a sports team which is totally unfair i do no play sports but i am a part of 5 academic clubs and that should count for something!
