  • West is a pretty good place to go. Its kinda boring because its in McDowell County (middle of no where). The principal is great. Thats about it for the principals! There is some great teachers and some not so good. I hate the way the teachers judge us by the way we look and from last year. For example...ME. Yes I did get into trouble last year but not the way their putting me out to be! All I did last year was use my phone but yet they treat me as if im a criminal! But i guess overall West Jr. is a pretty good place to spend half the day.

  • I went to this school last year before I moved and I have to say that I miss it. McDowell is the best county to me and if I had had a choice I would have stayed there. The students and staff are very kind at this school. They always treated me with respect and were there for me. I had a lot of fun there and a lot of good memories that to me will last forever.Thank you for being an exellant school
