  • Please do your research before moving into this school zone. I love my neighborhood but Morton is so far below expectations that my neighbors are moving solely because of the school. If you research you will find that Morton has failed to meet the standards of learning for more than 8 years running. My children are not driven by the teachers to excel and practically every parent in my neighborhood has that same complaint. There are a few good teachers to speak of but unfortunately, the poor ones outnumber the deserving. As a former TA, I am massively disappointed by Morton and the majority of it's teachers. Friendly staff does not equate to adequate learning and I am surprised at the other two comments. My only understanding is that maybe they received one of the few good teachers worth mentioning. Please do your research. If my opinion seems inaccurate in any way, a little research will show that I am absolutely correct about the long running failing streak. Friendly is not enough when it comes to a child's education.

  • I agree. We were only at Morton 6 months (military), but the staff and principal were inviting. They cared up our kids even though they were there for a short time. In CA now and hope to get back.

  • I love this school. We joined Morton in the middle of the school year. What could have been a very difficult transition for my son was made easy and comfortable by the staff at Morton. Everyone from the teachers and assistance, to office personnel are truly invested in each student's success. I fully recommend Morton to any parent wanting a safe and loving environment for their child.
