  • The tardies are crazy! You are suspending a student because they have missed maybe 1 or 2 minutes of class time. Well, wouldn't suspending them make them miss EVEN more class time? This make NO sense!!!

  • I agree! The tardies are stupid! Schools dont let kids go inside and advise you not to drop off before a certain time because teachers are not on campus yet.... When you have two children to drop off at two different schools, (which are 15 minutes apart) and you dont want to drop them off before teachers are present, sometimes you will have a tardy especially when the LHS officer is stopping traffic and you sit in line for over 10 minutes waiting to get in. Then you have students walking in front of you and parents holding up the line! It happens!!!! I am busting butt EVERY morning and dealing with this small time frame I have. Sorry, but I am not dropping my kids off unsupervised!!! Rather have the tardies!!

  • I think that yes the school is overcrowded, however that gives no excuse for students to be tardy. My child attends there and has NEVER had a tardy. It is all dependent on the student putting forth effort to get to school/class on time. In the past students didnt get suspended for tardies and the tardy rates jumped sky high, therefore, there had to be consenquences set to help students realize that tardys were important.....Keep up the good work LHS!!!

  • It sounds as if the school is trying to teach students responsibility. Think about this, for those who think the tardy policy is "crazy". If you were holding down a job and tardy constantly, you would no longer have a job. School keep the good work up!

  • I agree with him. It is stupid. It is soo freaking over crowded. Its stupid and if you have 4 tardys you get suspended>

  • i think that this school is unorganized. I dont think that people know what they are doing. The tardees are crazy, they are just tardees. You do not have to be suspended for them. Needing a note for every where u go is retarded to. Also they should be able to eat outside as well.
