  • I substituted at Ross and worked with the students and teachers there.
Every classroom subbed in was orderly with lesson plans that were effective that the students were involved with.
It's easy to take shots at public ed. but I know personally from experience that the teachers and 95% of the students really want school to be a success!

  • School is completely out of control, my wife went to Parent visitation day on 4-3-07 and she was the ONLY parent to show up out of all the students at the High School. I can not believe that no one else cares enough to show up for this. Our children have absolutely no respect for anyone in the school or each other. We are having trouble with our child and his attitude as well as his grades, we have spent a lot of time to try and work with the school to resolve these issues. It has become abundantly clear the school can not and does not care about getting control of the children. I call for all parents to stand up and say enough! The school board constantly wants more money and tax revenue but does not consider it necessary to actually teach our children in a controlled environment. There are going to be parents who say "It's not my kid, or they can't tell my kids what to do" GROW UP, you are part of the problem. Ten, twenty, even thirty years ago if we acted the way these kids do we would have been in big trouble and even bigger trouble when we got home. It's time to go back to that, sometimes progression is actually regression! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AT MY E-MAIL IF YOU FEEL COMPELLED TO!
