  • I participated in the walkthrough of the old Girard High School on Sunday May 30, 2010 and found the inside to be in great shape. What is so sad is that this building is going to be demolished in the very near future and can't see this happening. It would be great if those of you reading this can help support in saving this historical landmark so that we can have it converted into a Girard Alumni Community Center where sporting events, music, computer classes, concerts, movies and other social activities can take place right in our city of Girard, Ohio. Let's fight back and save this historical landmark and say NO to the demolition process.

  • Where do you get the idea that Girard is "a large suburb"? (in the description above) Girard Ohio is a small town with a population of 10,000 (2000 census)
