  • moved here when I was a freshman in 2001, wasn't readily accepted & WASN'T expecting it, like the two CRYBABIES that have nothing better to do than whine about how 'unfair' a small town can be... suck it up! The townspeople are fine if you DON'T come in with a sense of entitlement, and actually make the EFFORT to make friends or to be friend-WORTHY (yes, boys & girls, YOU too have to actually DO something to have real friends besides clicking 'add me'). With almost NO violent crime & very little other crime, this not-so-small (45k ) town is virtually a paradise compared to almost every other place within 50 miles! 99% graduation rate, 70% college attendance for graduates, 1:16 teacher to student ratio, teachers that actually TRY to prepare the kids for college/ the work force by NOT coddling them, but still being supportive... all I can say to people that don't like the place, vote with your feet & Get OUT; if you're correct enough people will leave to cause reform, if you're not correct (& trust me, you're NOT), nobody will miss you... and THAT is some advice you can apply to your everyday life.

  • I had moved to Wadsworth as a sophmore in 2002, and I agree. Students are not apt to except new children. Since it's such a small town, they have all grown up with each other and are only comfortable with what they know. I DO NOT suggest moving your kids to this highschool if they hadn't been in the school system as small children.

  • When I went to school there I was treated very bad.I had one best girl friend. She moved away to another state. I was so unhappy. There were 3 guys that were my friends and lived near me. That was all I had. The kids do not want to accept new students. That has been many years ago and it still upsets me to this day when I think about it. I never mistreated anyone. Also, the sad thing was that none of the teachers gave a dam!!!
