  • Comment to former student rating, May 15, 2009: Common sense stands to tell that your lack of correct pronoun usage and punctuation errors in your comment make it understandable why you may have failed English III. More than likely, you were probably one of the few students who actually tried to fail the class by not turning in assignments or by poor attendance and not making up the assigned work. As for receiving the AP award -- you proved that under no circumstances should you have failed any class at all. Of course, I disagree with your comment about the last name and social status making up for everything at the school. Attitude and respect for others make a difference in most cases. Anyone who has any scientific knowledge at all knows that iron is not only a metal, but also is found in the bloodstream as a metallic ion, and essential to good health. Your question was meant to gain you attention in the classroom and not meant as one from which you could actually learn. Re-evaluate your comment, realize that the teachers have the ability to teach students who do not think they already know everything, and have a wonderful life.

  • As an instructor myself, I appreciate the caring attitude of the teacher with whom I work daily. Students are given quality instruction and have a great time under her supervision. Expectations/workload absolutely appropriate
. ..It is rare to encounter a teacher today who is both liked and respected by her students, yet I'm privileged to work with such an instructor:)

  • this school does whatever it can to candy coat it's severe lack of teachers' own education, life experience lesson's and lack of the ability to actual teach! If you stray from the norm you can expect to frowned upon. While studying the periodic table, I had once asked the question, "So, does the Iron in the nutritional value on the side of a box of Total cereal mean that I'm actually eating Iron as in the metal?" and I was promptly told to go get a swat or 3 days suspension. I also was awarded the Advanced Placement English award my senior year(for which you get college credit) but was told upon graduation that I had failed English 3...common sense stands to tell that if one were to get the Advanced Placement award, how do you fail a class 2 curriculums under? Your last name and social status make up for everything at this school.
