  • I'm a junior at BHS. This school is not as bad as everyone says that it is. People may not be able to learn a trade to make it in this town. People are going to college and making out of Burrillville. I'm not saying this because i like school but they are trying their best to make school better for everyone in this town including the parents.

  • All you need to do is to attend one school committee meeting and you will know what the problem is with the school system is in town. Old, outdated and out of touch best describes the board. They are dysfunctional at best as a committee. They committee is openly divided and it is plain to see that one third of the committee is there for the advancement of the union and they are well on there way to destroying the school department. People such as Dorothy Conden have no business being on the school committee in the first place. The town should really lock at how the school dept. is run and an overhaul of this system is truly needed.

  • This school is okay. I mean, it's not that boring but it lacks in like, Everything. There are text books that are older than most of the seniors. The teachers are really cool, and so that makes the school a little better. I just wish the computers in the Tech Center were more up to date.

  • Thank God I got out of here before the place really went downhill. It's not so much that it's a bad school, just that they keep cutting programs like culinary, art, music, auto, etc. The kids that aren't going to college are not going to have any options here to learn a trade. We have a fairly high dropout rate, there are quite a few really good teachers but also quite a few bad ones. All the students below my class ('08) have to do this ridiculous digital portfolio project, they also have no studies so I don't know what you're supposed to do if you miss a test...Also there have been 4 different principles in the past 4 years.

  • Burrillville High School somewhat sucks. The changes. Come on now the roof was leaking. They waste money on a football field, which we don't even need. We need to use the money for school materials only. Not for a football field.
