(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - Our five-year-old looks forward to school each morning and is sad when she cannot go on Saturday. There are only 18 students in her kindergarten class with one teacher and one assistant teacher. I am especially impressed with their "Second Step" program. This program helps the students develop skills that will assist them in identifying, understanding and dealing with positive and negative feelings of their own and from others. This helps them develop empathy for others.
