  • Kids complain about school food all the time. That's dumb. There's nothing about BCHS's food that differs from any other public school. If you don't like it, bring your own lunch and stop whining. What matters is safety, teachers, etc. Safety is the only concern to me. Kids get away with pretty much whatever they want. That is, if they're related to any faculty.

  • Before I went to Bledsoe, I went to Hixson High School in Chattanooga, TN. I'll tell you, Pikeville is certainly different, but in a good way. Smaller class sizes, long-term acquaintance, if not family membership, between students and faculty, and small school size in general make it a great high school to attend. Besides, even though I was an outsider, I was accepted by the community fairly quickly, and am still friends with some of the people I knew when I moved there nearly 15 years ago.
