  • NES is fond of trying to tout their "benchmark" success, but I'm not impressed that the school can coach children to pass tests to improve their ratings, yet these same children passing the tests are failing daily class room assignments! Either the teachers are not actually teaching these daily skills, or the teachers are not paying attention to the students work. I have talked to numerous parents with this very same complaint. Makes no sense to me, yet (...) will defend the teachers and blame the child for NOT paying attention! Yes, the child does share some responsibility but ultimately, it is the school's JOB (do these educators realize that they are working at this place or do they just think that they own it?) to make sure that these kids succeed. We are taking our child out of this school district completely and placing him in a private school where the teachers are motivated and eager to watch the children succeed.
