  • Teachers are really helpful and are really involve with the students. The Principle is also really involve with the students. He is always looking for better ways to encourage students to attend school and get them more involve in academics.

  • EHS has earned a Gold Performance Acknowledgment by TEA for having over 90% of their seniors graduate through the Recommended or Distinguished Graduation Plan and for comparable improvement in Reading / ELA. They have had the honor of being an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) National Demonstration School for the last five years. Only 9 high schools in Texas hold this distinction and EHS is the only one south of San Antonio. Only seven schools are acknowledged by the College Board each year - 3 winners and 4 honorable mentions in the entire nation! EHS earned an Honorable Mention. EHS was also ranked in Newsweek's Top 5% High Schools in the Nation for 2007. EHS ranked number #405 overall, 33rd in Texas and first in cities south of San Antonio! GO BOBCATS!
