  • Excellent "small-town-feel", with the size and technology of a successfully advancing district. Like any educational entity, education strictness and equality varies teacher-to-teacher, but Huffman ISD in general has a good sense in them.

Great opportunities and great programs in sports, music, theatrics, etc... and as a student I've never seen another student struggle in finding friends.

The demographics of the school are, obviously, primarily white. That said, an acceptance of other demographics have never been a problem here. Hispanic and black students feel welcomed in the district.
Safety incidents are VERY few and far-between, the campus has no police force of any type really, two HoustonPD officers are regularly on standby for the safety of students. Very recommended if you're moving to the Huffman area, you will find your growth here more than satisfying. I can't imagine going anywhere else really, maybe it's just because the school is home to me.
