  • We actually requested a transfer from one inadequate school within KISD to THIS school (her "real" school doesnt have a TAG program). I couldn't have been more pleased. The TAG program at Reeces is amazing. My daughter is in 4th grade, and I really look forward to her attending Reeces for 5th as well.
The principal has been nothing but VERY nice to me every time I come to the school. Teachers are very caring and helpful.
Extra activities for the children are amazing! My daughter is in a technology club, and looks forward to every meeting.
If i had just cause to transfer my kindergartener to Reeces creek, I would! I would LOVE for her to experience what a GREAT elementary school is (unlike her current school.)

  • I used to attend this school it was horrible! For 2nd grade we had portables when all the bigger kids were inside the building. Worst part was that there was no bathrooms outside by the portables. A student wrote on the bathroom wall "(...) all teachers" and said he learned the words from me and I got suspended. Then 3rd grade we had to go to portables again when we were supposed to be inside. As a former student I came to the conclusion that you shouldn't send them to this school.
    Thanks

  • I have children in this school and I can not wait to get them out.The principle Mrs.Taylor is not very profesional and should not be over this school or any.I put my children on the bus and they got beat up on more than one time.My youngest was slapped in the face and had a girl pull her hair..who was 4 to 5 years older than her...nothing was done I had to go to the girls mom who took care of it.I took them to school after that when I could and talked to the school.I also was dropping my kids off on a very cold morning and they let a child in so she did not have to stand in the cold..when another parent and I asked why our kids could not go in and go to the cafateria also..they told us well her mom works here.I am now going to move them if I can because we told them that one of the children had said someone had done something to them while with their biological parent we showed them paper work told them a report was done w/police and cps and that it was an open investigation and they did not want the child to have contact w/that person. They assured us they would do anything to help.We show up early to pick up the children and a women runs in the school as soon as we pull up and as we walk in we see vice principle on the phone and the lady walking out of office..the child was standing w/the parent they promised they would call immediatly well they got the child let her have a chat w/them and the phone rings when they find out we are coming in.The child told us they where told not to tell he had seen the parent by the blonde headed lady..blonde headed only blonde headed lady in the room being Mrs Taylor. She aso confirmed to a person who is supposed to be on medication for a mental condition that they had other children in that school w/the same address as their child so they lived in the house w/them.So know thank you we will be moving because she has not only put him in danger but the other children as well all because she did not know all the facts and did not agree with our opinions.I am seeking a lawyer.I will say the teachers seem to care and seem to be GREAT!

  • This is the worst Elementary I've have ever seen, my grandson attends , in this year alone , he was told by the rude cafeteria ladies ,and this was after he already gone through the line for breakfast that if he did have money or credit on his account he couldn't eat and she took his tray away from a 36 lb 1 grader, they called his parents the parents found out after school when he told them he need to bring extra food to school, on field trip he was slapped by the teacher, the teacher is good teacher but she slapped my grandson, there problem , he's been kicked the (...) has lied about how this happened , sometimes never even reporting it , they only call now because he has been told to tell us , and we ask him everyday , I encourage every parent ,grandparent to ask because this is the one place kids should feel safe . if they the my child was I was there to let them know too. but come on this is 10 issues and the year is at the mid. this went on last year as well i was in the his classroom when one of the bullies tried to apologize to him. but even as a a five year old he has had enough.
