  • I am a former student and graduatied in 1984 at one time very proud of where I went to school. After being gone for a number of years and having 2 kids that have gone on to higher education this school is not offering anything that I would want to bring my kids back to. I have been looking at your website and in review of what the high school kids will be learning alot of it are things that my 7th graders learned in 6th grade. I have always stood behind my local school and am proud to say that we were ranked 13th in the country two years ago. Keep up with the times Independence.

  • This school was a nightmare for me. The staff does nothing to stop bullying and sometimes even "bully" the students themselves. My parents repeatedly had to get in contact with the school to try to alleviate some of the situations. The only good teachers are mostly retired now which is a shame. The teaching material is a joke. Do yourself a favor and enroll your kids somewhere else. I know some people like to believe it is a nice school, but I just got out of that place and have to say it was a terrible experience for me and others I knew.

  • I am so proud of the color-guard, winner this past weekend in Hershey,Pa. and the community and local news should be more supportive of the students. Keep up the good work! My niece is in the color-guard.
