  • Mr. Merritt,
I recently observed your tornado drill on chanel 7 and want to offer a constructive comment. In the drill you had children kneeling around glass trophy caes full of trophies. I volunteer with an emergency responce group and responded to a tornado in Enterprise, Alabama. Nine Students kneeling in the hall were killed with your students kneeling around these cases you are increasing their odds of suffering serious injury. I hope you will accept this in the positive way it is intended. I do applaud your efforts and commitment especially since I have been married to an elementary teacher for 30 years.
