  • This school is actually a great school, if your kid doesn't learn there its their own fault, maybe they should pay attention more! It is actually very nice and cares about its students and getting their grades to stay up. There aren't really any special groups or anything and everyone fits in perfectly, theres no reason to like the school. If you let your child skip, its your fault, not the school's. ITS A GOOD SCHOOL, GET OVER IT!

  • I just rated it a 0 and some reason it put 5 apples. This school is a dream place for kids who want to skip or smoke. They won't get caught if they do it in the parking lot. The don't check if kids skip a grade obviously if a child can skip a class for 2 weeks straight and we (the parents aren't notified by the school or the teacher there is a problem. I would not recommend this school!

  • Horrible school! My child skipped a class for the last 2 weeks of school and we were never notified! The kids are always smoking and hanging in the parking lot during school hours and at lunch! Where are the teachers? When a child skips a class you would think they would get caught but not at this school they don't even notice! We don't even get a call when your child is late to first period class. I would never recommend this school and if I had a choice my children would never attend such a horrible school.

  • I am a parent of a child that attended this poorly organized educational enviroment. This was an okay school before they brought in a so called principal, even some of the older administrators at this school left because of the useless principal. I know that the school had a good educational enviroment before due to the fact that I had a child that graduated from this school. What really ticks me off besides the fact that this is such a terrible place now to get an education is that even the students that attend this school are not allowed freedom of speech. Yes mr. administrator you know what I am talking about and you know who you are. This is a terrible school and I hope that soon there will be a change in the administration, I even know teachers that agree with me but are afraid of voicing their opinion because they need a job.

  • this school is probably the worst school in the county, it's not clean, the teachers are stuck up, and they also have no idea what they're doing. If there's a fight, there's usually no teachers around to stop from escalting. i'm a student right now, i'm in the class of 2012. I give this school a 1 star rating because i just got out of being suspended. I got suspended because a boy, i'm not gonna say the name, but he poured milk on my head when i wasn't looking, and guess what.... there wasn't a teacher in sight, this happened at lunch, what would you do if there was no teachers around, and just got milk poured on your head for no absolute reason BEHIND YOUR BACK, well, i punched the boy in the back. so i got 5 days, the other boy got 10, since he just got out of suspension. all that wouldn't have happened if there was somebody who say what he did to me. The staff doesn't belong there, i'm hoping that in the future they either fix this kind of problem or not even work there in the first place.

  • The cleanest, most disciplined school in Virginia. The principal is an amazing administrator. The student are treated with respect and in turn, they treat others with respect. I would allow my children to attend any other High School. I moved to this area specifically for Spotsylvania High School. Go Knights!
