  • The rooms are so neatly placed and organized it doesn't take long to find where you are. The students are willing to help and extremely friendly. Teachers treat me with respect, and they are involved in the classes. Instead of giving the students a worksheet to do and leaving them on their own, the teacher is engaged in the discussion and teaching. There are separate areas were the students play and a different area where the students can eat and talk so everyone is safe. The teachers give an appropriate amount of homework, just enough to make sure students get reveiw from the day's lessons. The whole staff after school, even the principal, is outside when the school bell rings to make sure that the students get home safely. They help students to cross streets and to manage the traffic flow that is always crazy before and after school ends.

  • This is by far the best public school. The education is very high standard and at least three years above grade level. You have to be part of the absolute smartest in the district because evey year for their Individualized Honors Program (als reffered to as highly gifted program or IHP) they only accept 60 childeren out of the about 2100 who apply.
